Introduction
         It is not enough to call somebody a spiritual director, simply because he claims to be a reverend or man of God. While it is good to have a spiritual director, it is also right to make the point clear that those who are qualified to be called spiritual directors are not up to 1% of the ministers of God in the world.

Why It Is Necessary To Have Spiritual Directors
         Spiritual Directors are very important to the humna society because of the following reasons:
  1. Spiritual aspect of life is so subtle that a good guide is always relevant. By ‘being subtle,’ I mean that it is not something you easily see with the ordinary eyes or perceive with the senses. Yet, it is truly manifest but hidden.

  2. More so, when the demons are always out to trick or frighten the innocent beginners on the spiritual path.

  3. Like all technical fields, spiritual science has its own terms and meanings. Therefore, the guide of somebody who is already spiritually awake, enlightened and experienced is very important.

  4. The words in the scriptures and holy books are spiritual statement which cannot be explained by human logic and reasoning.

  5. In this period of end time battle and confusion, it is necessary to have an experienced spiritual director, who can easily direct the affairs of humanity. The fact is that majority are not yet ready to receive the assistance or guidance of spiritual directors, until they suffer severe disappointment or hardship in life.

  6. His guidance enables the devotees make right decisions and take the right actions, without encountering unnecessary delays, mistakes or deceit.

  7. The light of his presence is the flow of the Holy Spirit, which encourage those around him and clear their doubts, fears or confusion.
Who Is A Spiritual Director?
         A spiritual director is know by what does:
  1. A spiritual director is a beacon of spiritual light to the nations of the world.

  2. He is a custodian of spiritual knowledge and wisdom.

  3. He teaches the Truth about God and life from both understanding and experience.

  4. He knows the spiritual principles that underlie all religions and cultures.

  5. He does seek to lord it over others, but to guide, to present the facts and allow people seek God out their personal interest and regular efforts.

  6. He is entirely different from the preacher, teacher or pastor. Many spiritual directors are not qualified because they are not spiritually awake, enlightened and experienced.
Various Aspects Of God
         The Bible has so many different names of God. Each name corresponds to an aspect of the Supreme God or His nature and character. Each of the various aspects of God performs specific functions in the Universe. That is why God has so many names, each depicting a particular mood of God. For example, God answers:
  1. The Thunderer, when rebukes against sins and iniquities.

  2. The Lord Almighty, when He is in-charge.

  3. The Ancient Of Days, when He tells you the beginning at the end or the end at the beginning.

  4. The Rock Of Ages, when you use His precious blood to destroy the forces and foundations of evil nature.

  5. The Almighty Father, when He sits on His glorious throne as the Father of All.

  6. The Fountain of Life, when He is recognized as the source of all goodness.

  7. Etc
The Teaching Principle Of God
         The aspect of God that teaches the Truth is called the Holy Spirit. This Holy Spirit is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. That is why the Holy Spirit is called the Guide, Helper and Comforter. That is also why Jesus said,

12 "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth , has come, He will guide you into all truth; John 16:12-13

5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. 6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. 1 John 4:4-6

19 But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; 20 for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. Matthew 10:19-20

         The Holy Spirit enables us to develop spiritual qualities like dedication, love, mercy, attention to detail, perseverance, tenacity, which are very essential to spiritual progress. The disappointing fact is that out of the teeming populations of the world, diverse religions with their numerous churches, only very few take up spiritual practice. This spiritual science is completely universal and therefore, beyond the confines of formal religions, which are man-made and often contradictory. Most ministers, pastors, prophets, or reverend fathers in the world today, are below 40% spiritual level. That is to say that they are still novices in terms of spirituality, despite the boldness with which the issue out sermons to the congregations and public. It is like an ignorant masters teaching children in a school, where the children are blind, deaf, dumb and paralysed.
         And that is exactly what is happening today in the world: so many churches, each claiming to be the best. Yet, the heavens are crying that majority of the dead end up in the hell fire. Religious leaders do not even know what they are expected to practice and teach others. Is it not a wonder or embarrassing that for many years and centuries humanity have had so many religious leaders, who did not care to introduce Spiritual Science? That shows how spiritually ignorant or backward the religious leaders are. How can they be lacking in the very thing they were destined to practice and teach?

How To Know The True Spiritual Director
         You know a good spiritual director by the following qualities:
  1. He must be a saint, who has attained the spiritual level of 70%.

  2. He creates an interest among the members in society to undertake spiritual science and practice, and he guides them to follow the path of Spirituality.

  3. He aims at guiding the seekers of Truth or devotees to liberate themselves from the cycle of birth, decay, disease and death, unlike the present ministers who are entangling the people in worldliness and reincarnation by teaching and promoting all kinds of worldliness like prosperity, wealth, honour, power, connections, recognitions, competitions, etc. The evidence of this fact is that founders of world religions were not primarily concerned with wealth and prosperity.

  4. He full of the Holy Spirit, and radiates the same to all around him.

  5. He never claims doership. Instead, he asserts that the Father who dwells in him does His works. In contrast, the worldly pastors are always announcing their achievements.

  6. He places spiritual things of life far above the worldly things, unlike the present team of pastors, who allow worldly matters to overshadow spirituality.

  7. They have love for all mankind, not the deceptive and hypocrisy of the modern day ministers, who are fond of their members to the neglect and mockery of members of other religions.

  8. He is a light to the nations of the world, unlike the reverend ministers, who limit themselves to their religion and church members.

  9. He performs his duties as service offering to God, without expecting rewards, thanks, praises, force or persuasion. This quite unlike the mentors, who insist that their followers must honour them, announce them and buy precious things for them.

  10. He is habitually living a quiet life, not like the noisy, boisterous and complaining ministers in the world.

  11. He concentrates on spiritual science and development, unlike the ministers who are always engaged in al aspects of life. His physical, mental, intellectual, financial, social resources are spent in serving God.
